Egg-cellent Easter Ensemble!

Are the winter blues getting you down? Bring some spring into your home a little early and be ready to celebrate Easter with this Egg-cellent Easter Ensemble! These branches are already in bloom with soft pink paper flowers and tiny green leaves. The embellished egg ornaments add pretty, delicate accents that are perfect for the Easter Season. Make one for your own home and one to give away. The coordinating card and basket make this an ideal gift for someone special.

Bunny in the Carrot Patch!

You’re invited…to join bunny…in the carrot patch!  These projects feature the Friends & Flowers Stamp Set and the coordinating Festive Flower Builder Punch to create the star of the show…the adorable bunny.  And what does the bunny love the most?  Carrots, of course!  Bright and fun Pumpkin Pie and Cucumber Crush Cardstock are scored and folded to create 3-D carrots…in two sizes!  Larger carrots are strung on Linen Thread to create a garland of carrots…and the smaller carrot perfectly adorns a Tiny Treat Box.  The bunny faced card is designed to serve for Easter greetings…or an invitation…and a colorful place card rounds out the project line up.

Celebrating Easter for this Friday's Class!

Here's a little project and card we'll be making at stamp class this week! I found these cute ideas out in the blog world, and couldn't resist sharing them with my classes. I love how some of our basic punches can really create the holiday!!

I hope you'll be at class to make them too!

Happy Easter Lily Card!

I made this card for my hubby for Easter. It started out as a quick Easter card with a simple flower on it. Sure, just punch seven petals from the Blossom Petals Punch - sponge a little, put dots on them and stick them together with a few daffodil scraps in the middle. Hummm, didn't quite go that smoothly, but it all worked out!

I used the En Francais background stamp on the Crumb Cake piece. I love that stamp, but I kind of forget to use the background stamps now that we have the Embossing Folders.

Here's a close-up of the lily. It definitely makes this a no-envelope, not in the mail kind of card. But that's ok, it just went in the Easter basket!

And here's the tag, with the stamp from the All Holidays set. I used the small and large tag punches. And the ink color is Soft Suede (it made it more of a manly Easter card!). Actually I just love the vintage-y look of Soft Suede with Crumb Cake for ALL cards!!

I hope you have a wonderful Easter,

Julie
