Easter is on it's way!

Here's a card we'll be making at stamp class this Friday. And yep, Easter is on it's way! This card could easily be for any occasion - just by changing the saying. I like how using the oval gives the impression of an Easter egg - and, of course, using Happy Easter, makes it a great way to have an Easter card without having a bunch of Easter stamps.

And one of the other cool things on the card is the Flower Trim! I LOVE these flowers, and especially how you can add color to them so quick and easy. They are super pretty all on their own, but adding a touch of color makes them even prettier!!

Hope to see you at class this Friday,

Thanks A Ton!

A quick post - with a quick card! Made this using the Sale-A-Bration set Patterned Occasions - Love this elephant! And I used the Vine Street Embossing folder for a little somethin' on the background.

Oh, and I finally broke out my Floral Frames Framelits - I love how this one fits so nicely behind the 2-1/2" Circle!

CASing Mary Brown!

Today I was looking for some ideas for some quick cards with a couple of the Sale-A-Bration sets, and I came across this one by Mary Brown. (I always like Mary's neat and clean stamping style.) Even though it wasn't such a 'quick' card to make, I love it A LOT! - So I had to CASE it, with a few minor changes!

OK, well I'm off to find some more 'quick' cards to make!!

Super Simple and Bloomin' Marvelous Again!

I made this quick card to send out for a birthday. I saw a similar card on Pinterest, I think. It goes back to the basics of stamping, but I love it! Just inkin' up the rubber and stamping randomly - so simple!!

And, once again, I used the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set - FREE for just one more month as a Sale-A-Bration benefit! And I inked it up with Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso.

Bloomin' Marvelous!

I made this card with the Bloomin' Marvelous set - it's a FREE Sale-A-Bration choice! I love that the set has images AND some great sayings to go with them! I know I'll be using this set a lot!

I'm also loving the new Bitty Butterfly punch - it's so cute to layer onto the Elegant Butterfly punch we already had from the main catalog.

Masculine Valentine!

Here's a 'masculine' Valentine I made. I always have a hard time keeping my masculine cards simple! To me, a masculine card should just be clean lines, simple in design and no ribbons or bows! But I didn't really follow that on this card, even though I still consider it masculine. Sometimes it's just hard for me to stop when I'm creating!!

I started pretty clean lines when I created the heart punch-out section - and I added the "Great Sport" background stamp.

But after I added the 'tickets,' I just had to add some Linen Thread - it just NEEDED it!!

A 'Best of Love' Valentine

With Valentine's Day just a couple days away, I'm still making a few more cards! - And I was so glad I got the 'Best of Love' set. It's the special set this month for Stampin' Up!'s 25th anniversary. I'm sure I had this 'love you much' saying from a set from the past, but I love it along with all the pieces in the new set, and I especially love that they are all clear mount!

Besides using the More Amore Designer Paper, I added one of my favorite embossing folders (again!), from the Delicate Designs set. Subtle, but I love it!!

Sweet and Simple Thank You!

I made this sweet, but super simple thank you today! I really love the Field Flowers set - so easy to make a quick and elegant card with two ink pads and a piece of card stock! By the way, the colors here are Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade.

And the other quick, and pretty, little detail - the Delicate Designs folder. I LOVE it's subtle, but feminine touch!
