Simple Stems for a Challenge!

I made this card today for the Sketch Challenge over at Craft Project Central. I have had the Deco Labels Framelits and been wanting to take them out and play! So today was the day! I love how the Circle Framelit piece fits as a nice inner layer.

And I'm lovin' the Simple Stems flower set!! I really love how dainty this little flower bunch is, and I think it's perfect in Blushing Bride. And it may be a little hard to see, but I added some Dazzling Details. They really look super cute in real life!

And here's the Sketch from Craft Project Central, hop on over and join the Challenge - you could win a FREE subscription to any month of projects!!

Have fun, and Good Luck if you join the Challenge!

A Lucky Day!

A quick post to show you a quick card I made for showing off the green! I used the single stamp Lucky Day! It's only available till the end of this month, but it is a cute stamp you can use any 'ol time!

Here's a closer look at the details! I love the Big Bling of our Large Rhinestone Jewels!

And here's a new project from Craft Project Central today:

This fun notepad holder is a perfect gift for anyone!  The little drawers can hold postage stamps, paper clips or a secret stash of candy!  This is a perfect box that can be re-used over and over again and can be showcased on your desk all year round.

This fun project was made by Monika Davis, and you can get her tutorial over at Craft Project Central.

A Belated Birthday!

Only about a week late, but here's a card I made for one of my nephews for his birthday.  I LOVE this Happy Birthday saying for 'boy' or 'man' cards!  If you didn't already get it in the set You're Amazing in the main catalog, you're in luck. You can get the single stamp all on it's own. - It's a great one to have!!

I used one of the Framelit pieces from the Apothecary Accents set to layer the saying onto. And typically, I would have probably put a brad or something 3-D onto the rounded ends, but I wanted to keep the card as flat as possible (it's going into the mail!). So I just cut some slits to feed some Seam Binding ribbon through.

On the left side I fed the ends out, and then just fishtail cut it. It needed a little something more, so I tied around some Linen Thread - a little Linen Thread always does a project good! - and it still keeps it flat too! :)

Wacky Wishes Thank You!

I needed a couple thank you cards today so I made these!  I was inspired by a similar card I saw on Stampin' Connection (I love to use other people's ideas, and just change up a few things!).

I love to layer an embossed piece onto the same color background piece! And the Chevron Folder - so on trend!! And, of course, it helps to use my favorite color card stock choice - Crumb Cake!  It all makes me happy :)

Then I added lots of splashes of Primrose Petals. I love it's softness with the Crumb Cake. And the Thank You comes from our hostess set, Wacky Wishes - throws a bit of whimsy to it all!
