Bliss Candy holder

This is a re-make of a past candy holder we made in Technique class a while back. Well, really it was probably almost two years ago?! They held a skinny pack of Trident gum that had the eight pieces. They were usually easy to find at Target in a package of ten packs, for a couple bucks. Then they stopped making those size packages. Of course, I figured that out when I went to make a bunch of them and couldn't find them anywhere! Anyway, back to the project... I decided that I still really like that package holder and wanted to find something else to fit in it. So, this is it! It kinda seems like a lot of package for the little treat that it holds inside, but it was fun to do! On the outside of the front though, (before you see inside) is Baja Breeze carstock, Chocolate Chip cardstock, Holiday Treasures DSP and Riding Hood Red Taffeta ribbon. The saying is from the set, To You and Yours.

When you lift the flap, the inside has a Bliss Candy wrapped in coordinating Holiday Treasures DSP. It's a 7/8" x 3" piece stuck around with mini glue dots on each end. Then I glue dotted it inside a Scallop Square punch out! I put another smidge of Holiday Treasures DSP under the punch out just to show off hte "scallop square hole" a little better. Then I added a Felt Flurry Snowflake with a rhinestone brad for a little bling! The little white thing is the other part of the velcro piece to close it up. So, yep, it is a lot of packaging for one little piece of chocolate - but I like how the candy fits just right inside that scallop square!

The pattern is a lot the same as the gum holder treat we did a while back, but email me if you want more specifics.

Repeat - with a new look!

So, today, I actually had a bit of a creative streak flowing! I made a couple of different projects, and started a kinda big one! Hopefully, they'll all make here eventually so you can see! Love those creative days - just hate when it happens to be on a day when you can't set other things aside. I was planning on getting a bigger chunk of my Christmas shopping done today, but Oh well! It'll happen, right! I did enjoy not looking at the clock and just creating though!!



Anyway, this was a quickie that I replicated from the Scallop Envelope Big Shot class we had a while back. One of my good friends, Joanne, had shown me the little Ghiradelli Peppermint Bark candies - made only for the holiday season - in a scallop envelope she made. So, I thought what a nice "Little" something to give to a few people at work. So I'm trying to whip out a few to bring to work this week. It's made with the Scallop Envelope die for the Big Shot, using just Real Red Cardstock. Then I stamped the saying from the set, To You and Yours, and embossed it in gold. I layered that on Whisper White and a Brushed Gold Scalloped Square. I punched a hole at the top of the opened envelope to hep keep the ribbon tied and in place. I also stuck the candy inside with a dimensional to help hold it in place too!

Like I said, just a little something - but just to let people know you remembered them!!

Now, if I could only get moving on my Christmas Cards! I may have to ask Santa to deliver them on Christmas Eve at this rate!!

Top Note Gift Tag

So here's an extra special gift tag for one of those big gifts you got someone this Christmas. It might be a little (or really a lot) of work to make this kind of gift tag for every gift this year. But, actually without all the bling - felt flurry snowflakes, two types of ribbon, jumbo eyelet and brad - you could probably simplify and make quite a few pretty quick! The Top Note Die from the Big Shot accessories is a "must have!" There are so many uses for it - tags, toppers, card frames, picture frames... And, it sure gives this tag an elegant start!!

Well, I hope to get the majority of my shopping done this weekend. Then maybe I'll actually have a gift to use this tag on!!

Country Living Kit Ornament

So...my friend Liz Price is THE BOMB!! She had a demonstrator get-together, although I missed it, and made some Super-Cool stuff with the Country Living Promotional Kit. She's been showing off a few things; and I saw this ornament, or gift tag hanger, on her blog - almost the same as this (But better - cuz she's the creator!!). Most of you (that didn't buy it) would think it's too late to order it, but you still could sort-of replicate something like it with other stuff you might already have. It starts with a chipboard star. With the kit, it has a matching star piece of Designer Series Paper to glue right on top (we know how to glue an irregular sized piece on and sand the edges, right?). Then I took a piece of 1" x 8" piece of coordinating designer series paper and scored at every 1/8" (Yup, a Little bit tedious, I must say!). Then folded it on those score lines, back and forth like a fan-fold. I attached the ends, and smushed (technical-term there) it together to make the cool center thingy (another technical-term). If that's totally confusing (probably), then you better come to a future First Friday Technique class, cuz we'll be making one on something soon!! Then I stamped the cool saying from the Country Living Stamp Kit set (which you could easily substitute), trimmed and punched it, and dimensionaled it on. And, then added the super-cool White Taffeta ribbon hanger! And...tahdah, A copy cat of Liz's ornament/gift tag hanger. What a nice accent to a gift, which then could be used for an ornament on the Christmas tree.

So, if you caught a few of my hints along the way, you could make this out of things you might already have in your stamping drawer, or basket, or closet, or - OK - room!! Anyway, I hope you make some time to do some nice homemade things for people this Christmas!

A Stolen Snowman Idea!

A few of you who came to class last Friday saw this cute little ornament in person. I "borrowed" the idea from another demonstrator from the Stampin' Up! website. As a demonstrator, there are a few secret places where Stampin' Up! shares demonstrator ideas that customers don't get to see. So, when I saw this I had to make one and share it!! The container is from the craft store that starts with the "M." It's a wedding favor tin with a clear lid that opens. Inside I put Ski Slope designer series paper, and some torn Whisper White for the snow. Then the snowman is made from 1/2" circle punches for the head, and 3/4" circle punches for the body. You punch out 4 or 5 of each circle, fold them in half, and glue dot them together so they fan out! I cut a little hat from back cardstock and dimensionaled (is that a word?! - but you know what I mean!) it on top. The dimensionals helped to pop the hat out!! And the "Riding Hood Red Taffeta" scarf is squeezed in between! The cool glitter on the outside is from the Chunky Glitter set. You will definitely be seeing that in an upoming class!! Love it!! A piece of Baja Blue Grosgrain is wrapped around the edges and ties way up top to make the "hanger" part.

Here Comes Santa Claus!

I made this little project a while ago - copied from some other creative person! - but never incorporated into a class for this month. So I figured that at least I could share it here before December slips by!! Sorry he's a little blurry, but here's another Peppermint patty punch idea! Santa's head started from a 1 3/4" circle punch (which is stuck on the peppermint patty - but you could use other candies, especially since it would be fun to give to kids, who don't always like the peppermint patties. A recess peanut butter cup, little ones, could work!). Then 1/4" circles are used for the eyes and nose; 1/2" circles are the whites of his eyes. His beard and hat topper are made from the small flower in the boho blossom punch. His hat is the scallop square punch, cut in half diagonally; and the brim of the hat is the word window punch. For those of you, like me, who are the punch collectors probably have most of these and could whip a few out quickly - and could use up some small scraps to create them! If you have most of the punches, but not all, improvise and you can still make it work!

Friday's Sneak Peek - the Inside!!

Well, here's the inside of yesterday's Sneak Peek gift card pocket card! There are so many ways to put a gift card into your cards, but this has to be one of my favorites by far!! It's real neat and clean inside. So... the length of the cardstock is 11" before scoring it for the gift card pocket. You score in at 3" from either end, and then at 5 1/2" for the center. You seal up the center edges with Sticky Strip, and use the Word Window Punch and a small circle punch to create the opening for the gift card. Then you still have lots of space inside for writing too!

Sneak Peek for this Friday's Class

This Friday is the Last First Friday of 2008! (But, of course, there will be more First Friday's starting again in 2009!) It seems crazy that 2008 is almost over - and crazier that Christmas is only 3 weeks away!!! So, for those that haven't done much shopping, what better gift is there than a gift card? OK, I know in these times - probably cash...but, there are probably a few places we can assume will survive these weird financial times! So, this little project is actually a gift card holder inside....It is awesome inside, but I have to leave a little element of surprise! So for today, I'm just teasing you with the outside cover. The designer series papers are from the Ski Slope package from the Holiday Mini; the cool hardware is the Vanilla HodgePodge Hardware; and the ribbon is the Alpine Ribbon Originals, also from the Holiday Mini Catalog. The set used is Winter Post. Tomorrow I'll show you how cool the inside is....

By the way, this is a project that we will make in class on Friday. I'll also be giving you a technique card so you'll have the measurements and directions for making more of them in the future!

Tin full of Chocolate Nuggets

Last week was the third class for the Big Shot dies. We made projects using the Birds & Blooms Sizzlets. I love those little dies, but they aren't exactly my idea of perfect Thanksgiving and Christmas type pieces! They seemed to work out though! The bird made a nice Christmas "dove," and using coordinating the Autumn Vine designer series papers with the "blooms" dies, they seemed to come together for a nice fall project! Kinda cool how you can make anything work just by using the right colors and accessories - call it Art!! Anyway, I had gotten these tins from an online store, and the little candies are Hershey's nuggets. Then I wrapped a 1" x 3" piece of designer series paper around each nugget to coordinate it with the rest of the tin decor! The stamped saying is from Best Yet, a Level 1 Hostess set.

Winter Post Reindeer!

I'm back! I couldn't believe that it was Monday since the last posting!! I knew I skipped a day, but I don't know where those other 48 hours went to??! So... I saw this super easy-looking card with the Reindeer from the stamp set, Winter Post (super-nice, classic set from the Holiday Mini Catalog). I could SOO make that card in a jiff, right? Well, after trying all my circle punches, and a half an hour later, I figured out how to layer the reindeer. The reindeer is punched from the 1 3/4" circle. Then I used the Coluzzle for the Riding Hood Red layer. Then I used the Scallop Circle from the Pennant Die from the Big Shot. Probably, a little spendy for the just-starting-out-stamper to recreate this card!! But, gotta LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this striped grosgrain ribbon (also from the Holiday Mini Catalog). It's a great, bold look!

Scandinavian Mittens!

My swapping friend Elisa made this AWESOME card! I always look forward to receiving her cards when we do a swap! I know a lot of people from the classes that I've recently had have really admired this card! She added a lot of great touches to make it special! She embossed in white for the mittens and the snowflakes on the background - really made those stand out, especially when you see the card in person! I think the mittens, being cut out and hanging from the silver cord really gave the card another little extra fun factor!

I think the topper of all cool on this card was the glittered icicles over the Let it Snow saying. The icicle is made by putting Crytal Effects on waxed paper, in icicle-looking form, and sprinkling glitter on it. Then let it dry, peel off the waxed paper, and stick it on your project! - Super Cool!!

The set is Scandinavian Season from the Holiday Mini Catalog, and the colors are Bashful Blue and Riding Hood Red - All Stampin' Up! supplies as usual!!

Sneak Peek of Final Big Shot Class

I found a card, almost exact to this, exploring some of my favorite Blogs last week, and was WOWed when I saw this!! What a clean-line, pretty card!! So, it will be one of the projects for this Thursday night's Third, and final, Big Shot series class! Not that we won't ever use the Big Shot, or it's dies again - FAR FROM!! - You'll be seeing LOTS more from the Big Shot! But, this will be the official last class for those that purchased the Big Shot Special kit. Deck The Halls!

Sorry the photo came out a little dark here. These are couple of Super-great cards made from my demonstrator friend Liz. This was not her first choice of stamp sets when we chose who got what, but she sure did an awesome job for stamping with her "not-first choice!" She used the Ski Slope Designer Series Papers and coordinated everything from there. The card on the left is a panel background, just creating strips of Designer Series Papers. And, you can't see it very well, but she added glitter and a rhinestone brad to the gift stamp for a little bling! The card on the right has a similar idea as the pumpkin placecard from yesterday's post. She stamped the ornament three times and punched it out with a circle punch; then she folded them in half and stuck them all together to create an ornament with dimension. Of course, she added some bling with the red hemp twine and the bling from the pretties kit.

Thanksgiving's Coming!

I saw this cute idea, and adapted it a little to make it my own. I thought it will be cute to set out these little place cards for the Thanksgiving table. I used the Wide Oval Punch four times, folded them in half and Sticky-Stripped them together; underneath the pumpkin are swirls from the Scribbles and Swirls Big Shot Sizzlit. I put a smidge of Close to Cocoa for the stem and mini-glue-dotted a piece of olive grosgrain to accent the stem. And the little strip of Designer Series Paper came from the Frosty Day papers. It was just the right color to accent the other browns I used. Anyway, I like the dimension of the pumpkin popping off the placecard! It's pretty quick idea to reproduce a few, so maybe there will actually be more than one on my table when Thanksgiving arrives!!

Oh, and, of course, for the stamping - the Happy Thanksgiving saying is from the set "Holidays & Wishes." It's a great set that takes you from Thanksgiving to Christmas to New Year's to Valentine's Day, and has "sweet little one" and "from the heart." An awesome set that will get you all the way through the Spring!!

More Christmas Cards!

Here are some great cards I received in a swap from my upline, Tami. I wasn't sure that I liked this set when I first saw it in the Holiday Mini Catalog. But I really like the samples I've seen more and more! Funny how sometimes a set will "grow" on you the more you see it used! I especially like how these two cards have NO coloring in - making them a good choice to reproduce for Christmas cards - and love the little bit of extra bling with Felt Flurries and Chunky Glitter!! Love the bold look of the Riding Hood Red Striped Ribbon too!

Another Snowman!!

I know I've skipped over lots of Fall and Thanksgiving ideas (and I'll be back to those!), but here's another Snowman!! I kinda liked this flap card idea - you still can get two from one 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock. It's a great little card for either a quick note, or for a gift card holder and a quick note. Gotta love "quick" notes!! The dotted bashful blue designer series papers(DSP) is actually from the Summer Picnic DSP! Gotta check out both sides of those papers - and think outside the box! And the snowflake is a chipboard piece that's covered in white craft ink and glitter! Love the glitter!! The set is a Level 2 hostess set - Deer Friends. At Friday's class we made a card with the gingerbread man from this same set. I really like how the circle punches make these little stamps so fun and easy to use.

Sneak Peek for Friday's Technique Class

So, of course, I changed around the original flap card I made a couple weekends ago for the Technique Class. It has the same basic parts, but it's now a Snowman Flap Card. This is the one we'll make on Friday night (if you're coming, and have RSVP'd for The Technique Class)! Inside it has a gift card, but it can be just a regular card too! It uses the Frosty Day Designer Series Papers. - Gotta love those designer series papers to help you with the color combinations! And, I'm finding that besides Designer Series Papers, I can't live without at least one punch. This one uses LOTS!!

More Christmas Cards!

These are the other two cards we made at the Christmas card class on Sunday. - A little bit country and a little bit cutsey! A few more layers than the other two we made, but still pretty quick and easy cards. We used punches on both, and the large snowflake on the background of the snowman card was punched from the Big Shot.

It's not too late to plan a Christmas card class for you and your friends to get together! Call or email me, and we can plan what you'd like to do. You choose what you'd like to do, and I'll prepare all the supplies and materials. For the 20 cards we made (5 each of the 4 designs), most people finished between 2 and 3 hours! It was a nice and relaxing get together, and now each of them have 20 Chrsitmas cards ready to send!

Christmas Cards!

Today my stampin' friend Cheryl hosted an awesome group of stampers at her house making Christmas Cards. Everyone made five each of four different card designs. These are two of the four designs they made. These two were simple designs, but with an elegant touch. Don't know if the picture shows it very well, but the Snowflake card has a touch of glitter on the center snowflake, and the hunter card is gold embossed. Sometimes just those little added touches make a simple card look finished!

Top Note Die Ornament

This is one of the other projects we made at the Big Shot class last Thursday. It was a CASE from my awesome stampin' friend Elizabeth, who always thinks up cool projects!!

We used the divider sheets that are sold with the magazine file boxes to make the "ornament/tag." Then we also used a chipboard star with oval punched pieces and a Felt Flurries Snowflake. The "peace" comes from a Big Shot die called "Join in the Cheer." It comes with the four words peace, joy, love and cheer. It comes as part of the kit offer.

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween! I guess since it is actually Halloween, I thought I'd better have something Halloween up! So...I made this card for Alex - I guess it'll be cool enough for a 13 year old! Probably if I put something inside (besides Love, Mom), like money, it will go over real big! Anyway, I got this set, Just Jawing, as a freebie with a $350+ Stamp party (the special is good through the end of November). Although this wasn't one of my favorite sets, it was awesome to have for Halloween and it was FREE!! I chose it because it was one of the few I didn't already have! Anyway it does have some other cool pieces in it that I'll probably use separately for other occassions.

Thankful Thoughts!

Tonight was the Big Shot Top Note Die Class. We made this card and three other projects. Even though Halloween is tomorrow, we didn't make anything Halloween. I kinda feel like I'm becoming retail-minded in my card and project-making. Even though the holiday isn't officially even here yet, I'm already thinking of the next holiday! Anyway, the weather sure changed to more fall-like weather so it was fun to get into the fall-Christmas kind of mood! So... back to the card - it's a super-simple layout, but I really think the Top Note die dresses up any simple card! We used the Thankful Thoughts set - not a new one! - but just a nice fall look to it.

A Random Creation!!

Over the weekend, I was playing with some ideas for next month's First Friday Technique Class. So, I started this card, but never finished it - got to one of those "Now what??" moments! Anyway, I needed to see it finished; and this was what It turned out to be. It is a "Flap Card," just one long piece of cardstock with a flap scored at the top (or, in this sample, the flap is turned to the side) and then embellished. I like the colors, but something in the combo of it all still isn't quite right?! Anyway, that's the fun of it all - either start all over, keep changing things, or whatever - it is just cardstock!! I love the saying from the Level 1 Hostesss set though - Best Yet - it has a lot of versatile sayings!

Halloween Cards!

I just wanted to give you a close up of a couple of cute and easy cards from a stamping demonstrator friend of mine, Dena. What a great way to use up those pieces of Ghostly Greetings Designer series papers! She used the set "Eat, Drink and Be Scary" from the Holiday Mini catalog. I especially like the layout with all the circle punches - I could see making that card using different colors and papers, and recreating it for any occassion!

Top Note Flap Gone Wild!

So, I was working on a little treat cover today, and realized I was having one of those... Oh, but-this-would-look-cool, I-better-add-one-more-thing kind of stamping days!! You know you really should just stop, and call it done, but that one other thing "might" make it look better?! Anyway, I was having one of those days when I made this little treat cover. I like the idea of it, and I like all of the things on it, I just think I could have maybe rearranged or left some off! But I really do like these Hawaii Papaya Designer Series Papers! I didn't think they were my kind of colors, but they really have grown on me!

Top Note Owl!

I have seen a lot of versions of this little owl around lately, and I thought I'd make one to share too! He will be one of the projects we'll make at this week's Big Shot Top Note Class this Thursday night! (I'll be sending out more details about the class soon.) I really liked this owl because it's a couple of Top Notes and all the rest of his parts are Stampin' Up! punches. He was super fast and easy to make. The hardest part was digging out only the orange, brown and a few yellow peanut M & M's! I think I'll have to find another "body" to fill him with though so I'm not forced to eat all the rest of those green, red and blue peanut M & M's!!

Create a Calendar Kit

This is a super easy to put together kit that is available in the current Holiday Mini Catalog. I'm not always so into the kit ideas, but this one is really all together and easy to do, and I like how it came out!! I had placed a pre-order from the Holiday Mini a while back, and kinda just set aside this "Create-A-Calendar '09 Kit." But once I took it out and put it together - it took all of about 15 minutes or less, even with my add-on of the Rubi-coil spiral binding - I really liked it!! Sometimes it is OK to just put together someone else's idea; it doesn't all have to be original!! I have seen some other great ideas in assembling this though. I wish I would have put it together as shown (without the Rubicoil binding), but added one of Stampin' Up!'s Chipboard clipboards with it! You can then pull out the current month and clip it, while the rest of the year is stored in the folder of the rest of the months! You'll have to come to the next class to see it in person - A cute and quick gift to give!!

Mini Magazine File Box

So, here's the little box I was telling you about. It really is kinda small. It fits the three 3" x 3" cards (from the last post) and three envelopes. But it's just a piece of cardstock with some folds and cuts here and there, and it becomes a "mini" magazine file box! Of course, it's decorated with matching Urban Garden designer series papers, and couldn't resist a felt flower and specialty flower brad!! Maybe this will be an upcoming project for one of our First Friday Technique Classes...

Quick 3 x 3 Cards

I made these three quick 3" x 3" cards today. I used the words from the Pocket Silhouettes set and the Urban Garden designer series papers. The papers helped me put together the rest of the cards' color combinations - Love those designer series papers!! The cards aren't really that special or anything, just quick cards for a quick note or thank you. But wait till tomorrow, I'll post the super fun little box I made to put them in! You'll have to check back tomorrow!!

A Christmas Set in Disguise!

I received these two cards from Convention swapping back in August. They both use the set Party Hearty, which is still on special until the end of this month! I probably could have eventually come up with a card like the one on the left - a cute birthday card! But I probably would have had to have a real brainstorm to come up with the one on the right! - They turned those party hats into Christmas trees, just by making them tree colors and highlighting the tops! I'm not always so good at seeing things outside of the box - and some stamped things look like they weren't meant to be out of the box, if you know what I mean! - but I think this was a pretty good one! Anyway, kind of cool that this set could be used for a fun Christmas card too!

Halloween Nights

This is a cute card that I got in a swap with an awesome demonstrator friend, Chari! I love swapping cards with my demonstrator friends - they're all so talented! I look forward to revceiving their cards in the mail - it's so nice to get cards, and not just bills, in the mail!! I like how she used the Top Note die in this card. And I also like how she used the new Alpine Ribbon Originals to guide her color choices for the card. I think the ribbon, and especially the Designer Series Papers too, help me in choosing the colors for my cards a lot too. Otherwise, I tend to get stuck in my same favorite colors! Scallop Envelope Card from Class

On Thursday, we made three projects from the Scallop Envelope Die and the Big Shot. This was the third project we did. The other two were shown in previous posts. We die-cut the Scallop Envelope from the Hawaii Papaya designer series papers. At first I wasn't sure I liked the color combo of the papers, but they grew on me pretty quick! I think when you put it all together with the coordinating cardstocks and ribbon, it just brings it all together and makes it work!! So, we ended up making it a stand-up frame card, and the note to write on is just the little insert card in the scallop envelope on the front. I kinda like how it turned out!

More Halloween Goodies!

Happy Friday! Here's a couple more Halloween goodies. There are both made from the Big Shot dies and the Ghostly Greetings designer series papers. The little basket and it's tag are from a Stampin' Up! exclusive die, Baskets and Blooms. And the little pouch is the Sizzix Pillow die, also sold from Stampin' Up! Super cute, quick and easy to do!! Just change the designer series papers and run it through the Big Shot for a new look! I've been using mine A LOT!!

My Friend, Frank!

So, last weekend my mom came over and we made these Frankenstein boxes. The idea came from a card I had received from Convention swaps. There are so many cool ideas out there that people come up with. My favorite part of the box, besides the Butterfinger candies inside!, has to be the perfect saying that goes with Frank! If the picture is hard to read, it's a quote that says:

FRIEND. GOOD. -Frankenstein

It's from the Stampin' Up! set called Smarty Pants. There are five other great sayings in that set too!

Big Shot Scallop Envelope Sneak Peek!

So tomorrow night is the Big Shot Scallop Envelope Class. You already saw the treat holder we'll make. And, as promised, here is another sneak peek at what we'll be making. It is a Scallop Envelope Box, created with four scallop envelopes! We'll also make a Card with a Scallop Envelope - but I do have to leave something as a surprise, right?! Remember to RSVP if you're coming so I'll have a packet of supplies for you.

Halloween is Coming!

So I know that not a lot of us probably send Halloween cards, but wouldn't it be great to receive one?! Anyway, I sure would like to receive one like this one! I got this in a demonstrator swap from my good friend Chari! It's awesome, with one of the latest techniques we did in our class recently, Moonlighting - plus a new set from the Holiday Mini Catalog, called Halloween Frights and a Jumbo wheel, Frightful Fence. But, I think my favorite part is the cute circle punch area with the clip - those little details just sometimes make a card!!

Always a Good Day for A Cupcake!

So, I thought I'd share a close up of this card I made for a swap with some of my demonstrator friends. Even though you may not be able to see it very well from the picture, the best part is the glitter on the cupcake tops! I always love the look of the glitter, but I often skip it because of the sparkle it leaves on everything else - including my face and clothes. But there is definitely no substitute for Dazzling Diamonds glitter! And...this set, Crazy for Cupcakes, is one on special for 20% off this month only for Stampin' Up!'s twentieth birthday!

Big Shot Classes Start this Week!

This is a sneak peek of one of the three projects we'll be making this Thursday, October 16th. The class is the first of three classes using the Big Shot! In this class we'll be making this cute treat holder (It was adapted from my super-good friend Liz's idea!). We'll also make a Scalloped Envelope Box and a card. Here's the scoop on the class if you'd like to join us:

Thursday, October 16th, 6:00 - 7:30pm, at my house - RSVP by Wed. 10/15, class size will be limited!

We'll make three projects using the Scalloped Envelope and the Big Shot.

Halloween Treats!!

Hi Stampin' Friends!

I'm excited to be jumping into the world of Blogging! I've thought about it for a while, and decided that it will be a great way to be able to share some Stampin' creations and to keep in touch with you in between stampin' classes. I hope you will enjoy coming by here to visit!

Last Friday, we had our First Friday Technique Class. Instead of our usual three cards and one 3-D item, we made THREE small 3-D items! They were quick Halloween Treats that you could make in a few minutes to give to a friend!

On the left is a super-quick Petal Card - punched from the New Big Shot - using The Ghostly Greetings designer series papers. It holds a small chocolate candy inside.

In the back of the photo is a bat topper made from the new Scallop Square Punch and 1/8" circles for eyes. It fits well over the smallest cello bag - of course filled with candies too.

And, finally to the right was probably the favorite of the class - the Scallop Circle Punch spider! He is made from two Scallop Circles, four sets of Photo Corners, two 1/2" circles, and three 1/4" circles, with a Peppermint Patty sandwiched in for his body!

Of course, all supplies are from Stampin' Up!
