I made this simple card for a quick thank you the other day. I originally was going to put the white part on the card in a portrait layout, but the leaves weren't fitting on. So I switched the layout to a landscape layout. At first it looked there was a lot of plain Crumb Cake card base, but then it grew on me and I really like it!
I did a few fun touches on the embossed background. I sponged some Whisper White Craft ink on it, then I spritzed some Frost White Shimmer paint (from a Stampin' Spritzer). I hadn't done any 'spritzing' for a while - and I forgot how much I like it!! - Just a cool added look, with such a little effort!
Thanks for stopping by,
Julie B

I absolutely love your blog and find many of your post's to be exactly what I'm looking for.
Does one offer guest writers to write content for yourself?
I wouldn't mind writing a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome web log!
