A Birthday Star!

I was looking to make a simple card for one of the many August birthdays in our family, and I saw a cute one made by Niki Toll on Stampin' Connection. So I decided to change up the colors and make one too! Her colors were actually kind of cuter, but I didn't have the same papers.

Here's a closer-up of the star. I like the little banner piece coming out of the side of the star. And I like all the texture to the pieces - Where would my cards be without Embossing Folders?!
