Cool Coffin with Mummy!

Here's the fun little project we'll be making at stamp class this Friday!  I Love it!  I found the idea for the coffin from a few demonstrators on Stampin' Connection that have been passing the idea around.  Not sure of the originator, but I think it may have come from Selene Kempton.  Then I had seen some ideas for mummy candy bars on Pinterest.

So I thought why not combine these two cute ideas for one cool project?!

I especially like how the mummy peeks out of the top of the coffin pocket with his cool googly eyes!

I hope you'll be joining us this Friday, or Saturday, so you can make one of these little guys!

Candy Corn Fun!

Here's a fun Candy Corn treat holder I made.  I used the Petal Cone Big Shot Die.  And my most favorite part is that I was able to use the Summer Smooches Designer Paper!  Using my 'summer leftovers' to make a 'fall' treat!  Cool, huh?

And the saying is from the Spooky Bingo Bits set.

I decided to enter the Great Pumpkin Blog Hop!  You can see a bunch of cool Halloween ideas over there each week.

The matching card makes this a great gift for any sweet Valentine!

You'll get the tutorial for my project and nine others! On Friday, I will draw a name from those that have left a comment. What have you got to lose?

And the Stockings were hung...

I made this card a while back for a swap I was in! It uses the Stocking Builder punch, that will be gone after the Holiday Mini Catalog ends! :( Stampin' Up! has said that they won't be carrying it over. I love that punch! I thought it was cute for a baby bootie in this card I made too.

Anyway, not sure if you can see, but I tried to make the background of this card look like a brick fireplace. I used the Simply Scored and scored at every 1/2" from the top to bottom; and then at every inch from side to side (and I alternated on every other row). I also sponged it with Basic Gray to get the lines to pop a little bit.

Then I added the saying from the Four the Holidays set. I stamped it onto a banner piece from the Petal Cone die.

Oh, and yep, that is Red Glimmer Paper that I punched the stockings from!! Love that sparkle!

Santa Fun for Friday's Class!

Here's a fun little Santa Treat Box/Ornament that we'll be making at this Friday's stamp class! I've seen lots of different versions of the Santa face - and I kind of combined the parts of the ones I liked into this little guy!

And one thing I LOVE about him is that he can be stuffed full of treats :) But when the treats are all gone, he can hang from your Christmas tree as a cute little ornament. You can see from the bottom view that he's made from the Petal Cone die. Cool, huh? The Petal Cone Box is the base for his his head and body all-in-one, and you just add the face!

And my favorite part, his Silver Glimmer hat topper and belt buckle. - Love that sparkle for the holidays!!

I hope you'll be at class this Friday - and you'll have all the details for making this cute little guy for a quick and cute little gift-giving!
