Bright and Funky, but Oh Sew Suite!

Not sure how I came together with these bright colors today?? Maybe the gloomy weather coming on makes me want to see the brightness?!

Anyway, I was inspired from Leadership to try putting the pompoms around a button (although the one at Leadership was a paper button). I found that the Mini Glue Dots were definitely the key to getting them to stick to this fabric brad. I have been using the Tombow glue for sticking the pompoms to paper.

Here's a closer look at the pompoms around the Fabric Designer Brad. The brad and the Designer Papers are from the Oh Sew Suite collection. I wasn't sure I liked the sewing stuff, but it really has grown on me!

And here's a close-up of a little extra smidge of pompom that I added to the card. I wanted to put some brads, but they just weren't looking right to me. And since we don't have any Melon Mambo brads, the pompoms did the job!

Oh, and the other colors are Daffodil Delight and Blushing Bride. And the stamp is from the set Hello, You - and it's FREE as a Sale-a-bration choice! I had looked past it many times, but for FREE - Woohoo, Love it!! You can have it for FREE too - just place a $50 order, or host a $300 workshop!

Thanks for stopping by,

Julie

Nice card. Love the white addition that looks like stitching.
