Art Canvas & Garland Decor!

With this tutorial, you’ll learn to make two home décor items that are perfect for Valentine’s Day but, since they stray from the traditional colors of pink and red, it won’t be necessary to rush to put them away.  First up is the adorable black canvas, which would be a sweet gift item, featuring the Hearts Decorative Mask.  You will probably make a list of people for whom you can make a canvas once you see how easy it is to go from a blank canvas to WOW.  The second project is a heart garland that you will thoroughly enjoy making!  It is surprisingly quick and easy from start to finish, and it has such a sweet presentation that you will be looking for the perfect place to hang it—and leave it year-round.  Lastly, there’s a greeting card that coordinates with the canvas and garland.

A Variety of Valentine Treat Holders!

Are you looking for a variety of ways to package up Valentine treats for your friends and loved ones? Do you need new ideas for treats your child can take to school? Or maybe something to send your grandchildren? This project contains instructions to create six different holders for five types of Valentine candy, plus one more for Valentine pencils. Some of the packaging is easy enough for children to make, and others are more complicated. The variety of choices available make this the perfect project to get ready for Valentine’s day at home, at school, or to have plenty of options for a Valentine themed stamp camp or class.

Masculine Valentine!

Here's a 'masculine' Valentine I made. I always have a hard time keeping my masculine cards simple! To me, a masculine card should just be clean lines, simple in design and no ribbons or bows! But I didn't really follow that on this card, even though I still consider it masculine. Sometimes it's just hard for me to stop when I'm creating!!

I started pretty clean lines when I created the heart punch-out section - and I added the "Great Sport" background stamp.

But after I added the 'tickets,' I just had to add some Linen Thread - it just NEEDED it!!

A 'Best of Love' Valentine

With Valentine's Day just a couple days away, I'm still making a few more cards! - And I was so glad I got the 'Best of Love' set. It's the special set this month for Stampin' Up!'s 25th anniversary. I'm sure I had this 'love you much' saying from a set from the past, but I love it along with all the pieces in the new set, and I especially love that they are all clear mount!

Besides using the More Amore Designer Paper, I added one of my favorite embossing folders (again!), from the Delicate Designs set. Subtle, but I love it!!

Valentine, or Anytime, Treat!

I made this cute little Valentine treat, or any kind of day treat, with the fun Sealed with Love Simply Sent kit. This little kit was so cute from the Holiday Seasonal catalog. But during that catalog period, there was just so much other stuff to focus on!

The awesome thing about the kit now though, is that you get it FREE when you buy the 'My Little Valentine' stamp set! How awesome is that?!

I didn't even use the stamp set, but you can check it out HERE, along with the special deal on the whole kit - a super great deal for $9.95! I did add my own Pool Party paper around the chocolate bar, and a couple circle layers under the included, pre-punched 'heart flower' pop out. And the Pool Party Ribbon was my add-on too!

But the most important to know is that you can only get the stamp set and FREE Simply Sent kit until TOMORROW! That's the last day of the offer!!

Valentine's Day isn't too far away, and even if you don't get them made up for Valentine's gifts, you can use them for a nice 'thank you' or 'thinking of you' treat for someone, anytime. They are so quick and easy to put together - and great to have on hand for a last-minute gift!
