CASing My Own Field Flowers! And a Cool Surprise!

I was asked to make a sympathy card the other day, so I decided to CASE from my own card! HERE is the original that I made a while back as a Thank You card. I love the Field Flowers set!

In making it a sympathy card, I had a hard time finding any words that would fit in the small space. So, I took the 'With Sympathy' from the Loving Thoughts stamp set. And because the words were next to each other, and too long to fit in the small space, I decided to cut them in half!

And when I went to put them on the clear block, it was totally cool that the two (now) separate words nestled right together perfectly - and even stamped perfectly straight onto the card that way! It was like they were meant to be cut and rearranged that way! And the cool thing is that the two separate words can still be easily repositioned onto the clear block to be next to each other again. - So cool, huh?

Sweet and Simple Thank You!

I made this sweet, but super simple thank you today! I really love the Field Flowers set - so easy to make a quick and elegant card with two ink pads and a piece of card stock! By the way, the colors here are Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade.

And the other quick, and pretty, little detail - the Delicate Designs folder. I LOVE it's subtle, but feminine touch!

Field Flowers Thanks

I needed a quick thank you card last night and this is what I made - super quick! I've seen a few samples with the Hello, Doily background stamp used behind these flowers - and I just love it! And I've had the Field Flowers set for a few months, and this is the first that I've used it. One of those 'have to have' sets, and then I neglected it! But now that I've broken it in, I know I'll be using it more! And I do love it - So easy to stamp with, and such an elegant look.
