Who Would Have Ever Known....

... if I hadn't shown you this? So, this is my way to "cheap out" some of the extra card stock layer pieces I would need to make a bunch of these (for the swap I'm doing, I'm going to make about 80 or so of these - and this will save me about 10 sheets of card stock). I used the Early Espresso layer that will be under the Brayered Impressions piece to run a Big Shot tag.

And now that the layer is stuck on the back, the "hole" from the tag is hidden underneath! Pretty Cool card stock saver, huh? Or, maybe I'm just a cheapskate?!

And, here's the back side that no one (except now you!) would have ever seen!

And, finally, just thought I'd show you the difference between the Chocolate Chip version I did the other day, and the Early Espresso version today. I wasn't sure about the intensity of the Espresso at first, but I Love it now!! And, yes, it is temporarily missing the Espresso ribbon, but that will be on my July 1st order - Woohoo! New stuff, very soon!! - Oh! And the new Happy Birthday saying is from the new set, Perfect Punches - Love it!!

  6. I love the Early Espresso paper! I didn't think too much of it at first either, but now that I have used it, I have to force myself to use different colors and NOT Early Espresso all the time!

I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY EMBOSSING FOLDER! :(

  9. There's nothing cheap about that, saving a little bit of cardstock goes a long way. Very nice cards.

  11. You could have easily get 2 pieces out of that piece of cardstock... (smile) I am with you.. I so don't like 'wasting' paper. Great job on the card.

    Take care, Pauline
