Last Chance Papers!

I made this fun card for the Creating Pretty Cards Sketch Challenge over at Craft Project Central! I wanted to use these pretty papers - that I haven't had a chance to use yet. And tomorrow is the LAST day to get them!! You can get them FREE with your $50 order.

And if you're wondering what you need to make this card, besides the FREE papers, I'll tell you... the Grateful Bunch and Blossom Bunch Punch Bundle!! I love this set and punch bundle - it seems to be a bit of a sleeper in the Occasions catalog, but it's so awesome! I will definitely be using it again soon! So many possibilities with it!

And today is the last chance to join the Creating Pretty Cards Challenge! Click HERE for more details on how you might get a FREE subscription if you join the Challenge!

Super Sweet Pyramid Treat for Class!

I haven't posted a Sneak Peek of our Stamp Class stuff over the last couple months... So this month I decided I better get my act back together and post a Peek! :)

We'll be making a super simple version of the pyramid, using the Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies. There are some really cute little critters you can make when you get coordinating stamp set, but I wanted everyone to see how quick and easy just the pyramid is! So I kept it simple, but also used some of my favorite new Specialty DSP that gives it some extra cuteness!

Plus, I have an awesome tip to show how you can make it open and close without tearing it all apart! ;)

And... if you're at class, you'll have a fun surprise to put inside yours after you make it!

Hope to see you later this week,

Tea-riffic Treats!

The projects in this tutorial are simple enough for new stampers, and the treats themselves will make anyone feel “tea-riffic”!  Whether you need just a pretty card (adorned with charms, of course) or an ensemble of treats, this might be the perfect project!  Create a package to hold an assortment of tea bags, a tea cup-shaped bookmark, and a box of cookies shaped like tea bags.  This ensemble wouldn’t be complete with a note card, and the tutorial even includes a pretty way to prevent the string from a tea bag from falling into a cup!

Balloons are the perfect, and most versatile type of Party D├ęcor! Make this set in Pool Party to work for any Birthday Party, Shower or any type of Celebration! Or change up the colors to suit the occasion you need it for! In the tutorial you’ll learn two ways to make altered versions of the Mini Treat Bag – one will be the Gusseted Mini Treat Bag, perfect for any party favor or treat you want to give your guest! You’ll also make the essentials of a place setting – a Plastic Utensil Pocket (the second altered version of the Mini Treat Bag), a Place Card and a Water Bottle Sleeve. And the coordinating Cupcake Picks will add that special touch to your yummy cupcakes! Plus, all of the measurements make this so easy to create bundles of each!

"I've Got Your Number" Flash Cards and Game!

Learning and fun should go hand in hand, and this brightly colored set of number flash cards will make learning so much fun. You’ll make two sets of cards using the Number of Years Bundle and Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper, so the cards can be used for matching and memory games as well as flash cards. The top and bottom of the storage box fit flush together, making it easy for smaller fingers to open, while the inner liner holds the cards in place. Add the belly band and greeting card, and it can be a fun gift as well as a learning tool.

Flower Topiary Gift Set!

This gift ensemble screams spring and is sure to bring a smile to someone’s face. The topiary is made using punches, plus die cuts and of course a little bling. The cutest thing about the topiary is that the bottom box opens in the front and you can put in a few pieces of chocolate or tuck another little gift in there. The Birthday Card is embossed; water colored, fussy cut and layered plus the envelope is lined with Designer Series Paper (DSP). It’s so relaxing to paint the flower with Aqua Painters and having layers adds dimension. The little gift tag and bag finish the ensemble then you are ready to give this set to a special someone. Bonus is the cute little Lady Bug.

Creation Station - Birthday Blog Hop!

Welcome to the March Creation Station Blog Hop! This month we're celebrating birthdays!! I've used the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Papers for both the card and small project. These papers are so awesome - not only do they have perfect birthday images, but the floral prints are gorgeous!! (Stay tuned to see more with those!)

We made this card at my classes last month - and I love it!

I love when a card has dimension - popping up the balloons with both single and double-stacked Stampin' Dimensionals made me love this card even more!!

And just a quick tip - When your colors aren't exact - use what blends well. The muted confetti pieces in the background DSP piece didn't have a color that had a coordinating ribbon that was working for me. Here, I wanted a subtle, little bow. And the closest color in something thin was the Calypso Coral Baker's Twine (Calypso is not a color in the DSP though). But it sure does blend well - so I used it! The cardstock layer under the DSP is Calypso Coral, as well as the baker's twine, and I think it brought it all together well.

This little treat holder is a super easy and cute little pattern I've made quite a while ago, but revamped it using new papers and products. The little base inside the treat holder fits just a few small chocolates (2 Lindt truffles or 3 mini Snickers).

The little inside box is a Pool Party Cardstock piece that measures 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" (flat), and is scored at 1" on each side. Cut in tabs, fold up and glue to create an open top box. The DSP piece is 3" x 9" and scored at 3-3/4" from each end.

I used the Word Window Punch to create the little handle. And what I love most is the simple, but sweet little tag!

I stamped the saying from the Enjoy the Little Things stamp set. It's punched out with the 1-1/2" Circle punch, and layered onto a 1-3/4" Pool Party punched circle. And the best part of it all - the super sweet Bow Paper Clips! So cute, and it holds it all together!

I hope you enjoyed your stop here at my stampin' space!
