Yippee Skippee! - A Sketch Challenge!

I needed a card today, and decided to play along in the Sketch Challenge #37 over at Craft Project Central! I used Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake and Black and White. - Kept the colors clean and simple!

Here's a little closer look at the details! I used the Modern Label punch and the Wide Oval punch with some 1/8" Bermuda Bay taffeta ribbon wrapped around. Under all that is the Back to Black DSP, a black banner and a Black and White Chevron ribbon 'banner.' Oh, and I embossed the Crumb Cake card base with with the borders heart embossing folder first! - A subtle, but fun little addition!

And here's the sketch that I used. - Hop on over to Craft Project Central, you can join the challenge too!! And you have a chance to win a free subscription if you join!

Awesome Double Slider Birthday Card for Class!

This is the card we're making at stamp classes this week. - I'm so addicted to these Double Slider Cards!! They are so fun to make, and even more fun to 'open and close.'

When you pull the tab up on the top, the top and bottom pieces slide out at the same time! - So cooool!!

I found the idea online, but then I adapted the size (to make it a little bigger). And I'm so excited that the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set is back in stock. It's perfect for this card - there are so many combinations of sayings you can put together.

And, just for class, we'll also be testing out the new Blendabilities markers on the cake!

Hope to see you this week,
